The two-year trainee program consists of four separate assignments to different units, to give you a broad understanding of our business. Each assignment will be tailored to your needs, to develop the competence required to fill the permanent position in Regional Technical Staff after completion of the program. As a trainee in Regional Technical Staff at Sauda, you will work with both low and high voltage components in the region’s power plants, with a special focus on high voltage components. Your tasks will mainly be within refurbishment and reconstruction, project work, evaluation and analyses of condition, O&M strategies and HSE. The Business Area Power Generation is responsible for operation and maintenance of all Statkraft plants within hydro, wind and gas all over Europe. With a total of about 1200 employees we are located at Statkraft’s Head Quarter in Oslo, Norway, and have organized our plants in six operating units: four in Norway, one in Sweden and one in Germany. Power Generation are today present in six countries. Our Norwegian Region West, with its administration in Sauda and hydro power plants in Rogaland and Hordaland, is aiming at strengthening the regional technical staff with one trainee within electro.
