DNB Markets Investment Banking Division (IBD) employs 100 people located in Oslo, Bergen, Stockholm, London, New York, Houston and Singapore. IBD serves large corporate customers with a full range of investment banking products and services. Also view our vacancy at finn.no Our strong performance over the last years has created a demand for more resources and the IBD team in Oslo is now seeking to appoint Analysts and Associates. The Analysts and Associates will support IBD professionals in Oslo and globally. You will be a contributing member of deal teams and will gain a deeper understanding of strategic advisory, fixed income, LBO and loans and capital markets work across the industries in which DNB Markets operates. The IBD team is highly successful and visible within the organization and maintains a high quality standard and thus requires Analysts and Associates with the highest standard and extreme attention to detail. The positions will report to the Global Head of one of the four teams within the IBD organisation, those teams being Strategic Advisory, Fixed Income Origination, LBO and Loan Origination and Capital Markets. Key responsibilities include

• Transaction execution
• Creating client pitches
• Preparing various analysis
• Staying fully abreast of relevant market developments
• Preparing internal transaction memos, client exposure reports, deal files
• Tracking comparable transactions, including maintenance of databases of external and internal deal data
• Assisting in updating general marketing information
• Working effectively as part of a global product team
• Developing and maintaining good relationships with colleagues in IBD and more generally in the DNB Group and other relevant partners

Key experience and qualifications

• Analysts should have 0-3 years of relevant work experience, but we do also encourage top performing graduates in 2014 to apply
• Associates should have 4-6 years of relevant work experience
• Master degree or equivalent
• General interest and understanding of investment banking products and services
• Experience and ability in using relevant software
