Summer Internship
The financial industry has undergone tremendous changes in recent years. Customers have become more self-serviced, and they want tailored solutions fulfilling their needs. Banks are no longer only competing against each other. We also compete with large and small technology companies internationally when it comes to creating the best customer experiences. At the same time, we must consider regulatory demands from the government and the criminals threatening the bank’s and our customers’ values are getting smarter every day. Working in DNB has never been more challenging and exciting!

As an intern at DNB, you are placed in a business area or project where your competence has the best fit. You will be given great freedom and opportunity to solve challenging tasks. You will have a mentor to help you succeed, as well as the support of talented colleagues. In addition, you will get to know and work with other likeminded interns - which gives an opportunity for lots of fun and many new acquaintances.
Who are we looking for?
We need both generalists and specialists to shape tomorrow’s bank. Whether you study technology, economics, social sciences, or innovation does not matter, as long as you have the right attitude and motivation! In 2022, summer interns worked in various business areas such as IT, AML, People, Communication, Wealth Management and in Corporate and Personal banking.
We think you should apply if you
• Want a career in banking and are interested in getting to know DNB better
• Are curious about the changes in the financial industry
• Are on your 1st – 4th year of your degree (at least one year left of the studies in the summer of 2023)
• Have good academic results
• Are fluent in English written and oral
Duration and pay
A Summer Internship usually last from 8-10 weeks, and in most units some holiday can be arranged.
The internship is paid.
Recruitment process
The deadline for sending your application is February 19th and applications will be reviewed after the closing date. Instead of sending us a cover letter we kindly ask you to answer some questions. In addition to the questions and your CV note that we will require submitted grade transcripts. All uploads must be in PDF.
If your profile meets the specified requirements, you will be invited to complete online tests. These tests will take approximately 30 minutes and will be sent to you by email (please also check your spam folder). Based on the test results, your academic results and motivation we will invite the top candidates for interviews with the relevant areas in DNB.

Summer internship
Et summer internship i DNB gir deg en unik mulighet til å få erfaring fra Norges største bank. Som summer intern vil du ha utfordrende arbeidsoppgaver og få tett oppfølging gjennom hele perioden. Oppholdet varer fra midten av juni til midten av august.
De fleste avdelingene ønsker studenter fra første til fjerde studieår. Hvilken utdanning som kreves kommer an på hvilket område du søker internship i.
Deltidsjobb
En deltidsjobb i DNB kan by på arbeidsoppgaver innen salg, service og rådgivning, og kan åpne dører for fremtidige muligheter i konsernet. Du må være minst 18 år og ha fullført minst ett års høyere utdannelse (universitets- eller høyskolenivå) for å starte i deltidsjobb i DNB.
