I am Schibsted’s Management Trainee Program, now searching for my perfect match - could it be you?

First, a little bit about me:

  • I have been a part of Schibsted for a long time, in fact, I am celebrating my 25th birthday this year.

  • I am looking for a two-year partnership which will include four different placements, each lasting six months, in different Schibsted brands in different Nordic countries. My sincerest goal, after our relationship ends, is for you to be ready to take on a permanent position in a Schibsted brand of your choice.

  • I’m adventurous and diverse - I will offer you the opportunity to explore brands like Finn, Svenska Dagbladet, Morgenlevering, Lendo, Blocket, VG, and many others — all across borders, as Schibsted is active in several countries like Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Poland.

  • I am demanding - as our relationship will aim for growth, l will constantly challenge you exposing you to product management, data and analytics, business development, strategy and investments, and more. Of course, I expect you to challenge me in return.

  • I am very supportive - and I will provide you with all the support you’ll need to succeed. You will be given a senior mentor to guide you through our time together, get continuous feedback from Schibsted leaders, and I’ll offer you intense training weeks, workshops and other development activities to help you grow.

  • I am ambitious - my goal is for our relationship to result in you becoming a self-aware, sustainable leader. I aim to sharpen your skills and cultivate your talent so that you can empower the future of Schibsted, and thus, the future of society.

  • Even though I am highly professional, I love to have fun - in our time together, I will plan several social gatherings, events and trips.

What am I looking for?

For my perfect match, I need someone who’s not afraid to challenge me and can offer strong analytical skills and a talent for leadership. Obviously, some of my biggest hobbies are business and technology—so I’d like someone who shares the same passions. Life with me is fast-paced, ever-changing and never boring, so I need someone who’s flexible and a self-starter. And lastly, I love to talk and to collaborate, so I need someone who’s good at communicating and who is a team player.

However, even though I am a part of a diverse and inclusive family, I do have some requirements. In order to make our relationship work, you need to:

  • Be a citizen of a country in the Schengen area.

  • Have less than 2 years of full working experience.

  • You must have a completed master’s degree or equivalent by August 2023.

  • Be able to write, read and speak English competently.

  • Be fluent in Norwegian and/or Swedish.
