Equinor experiences high activity levels within Project Development as the portfolio expands beyond oil and gas to major renewables and low carbon projects. Construction and Commissioning are building and modifying equipment and installations ranging from platforms to wind turbines. The activities extend from yards in Norway to offshore facilities and building sites across the world.
Equinor's Construction teams follow up the contractors’ construction work and verifies quality before structures and equipment are handed over to commissioning. The Commissioning teams prepare, execute and document tests and inspections prior to final hand over to operations. Both Construction and Commissioning organizations combine discipline expertise (electro, instrument, process, mechanical and more) with leadership skills such as risk mitigation and stakeholder engagement. Project data analytics and digital tools are used for efficient collaboration and identification of bottlenecks.
Graduates will engage in a variety of Construction and Commissioning tasks and projects across the portfolio and can expect new challenges and experiences when building the future of Equinor.
