Orkla Home & Personal Care (OHPC) is 100% owned by Orkla ASA and is part of the business area Orkla Care. OHPC is one of the Nordic’s leading supplier of cleaning supplies and products for personal care. Some of our well-known brands include Zalo, OMO, Jif, Define, Solidox, Jordan, Dr Greve, Lano, Grumme, hth, Bliw and Family Fresh. The sale is mainly through retail, specialists trade and pharmacy. We have about 1100 employees! Most ouf our products are produced at our factories in Ski, Flisa, Falun, Copenhagen, Radzymin (Polen) and Kuala Lumpur.

Every summer we recruit around 50 interns that will work across different departments in Orkla. Our goal for the internship is to be fun and exciting but also a place where our interns can learn valuable skills that will help them in their future careers. Throughout the summer there will be held social events and gatherings for the interns to also get to know each other in a fun, out-of-office environment. This will be a paid position running for 8 weeks between June and August. Some travel may be required in certain positions.

What will you do?
Chemical improvement and / or development project to be solved in our development laboratory where you will be responsible for progress and relevant information gathering with support from product developers and laboratory technicians.
The assignment will require you to gain insight into the chemical properties and areas of use of the relevant products, as well as follow procedures and analysis requirements set for laboratory work and product development. Collaboration with other functions in the value chain may be relevant.

As a Summer Intern, you will receive close follow-up and be part of a strong and informal professional environment. We experience that those who succeed in the position have knowledge in chemistry and an interest in product development, as well as enjoy working independently in the lab.
Who are you?
4th year civil engineer/Master’ student, specialized within chemistry or biotechnology.
Experience with laboratory work and interest for product development.
Brave, Inspiring and Trustworthy!
Analytical, goal oriented and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
A good relationship builder, and able to communicate across organizations and different levels.
Adaptable, positive, and problem solving.
