The Software Developer will have the autonomy to own certain elements of the project and work alongside the Co-founders to shape and build a product that has a real purpose. In return, we will make sure the right candidate has room to learn and develop as a rockstar developer going forward. Ideally, this role would evolve into a longer-term role and join the team full-time.

What you'll be doing
We are in search of a passionate Software Developer to join us as an intern and who is able to build quickly. You will work very closely with our CTO (Norwegian) and be part of spearheading the build of our SaaS product and the iterations during the beta testing phase. You will participate in brainstorming product ideas, new technologies, and software solutions that can be incorporated. You will then be in charge of shaping the product that we then launch to the public as we look to scale internationally.
You will also be working closely with our UX Designer to ensure we’re building the right product that users find valuable. You will need to be comfortable working quickly and efficiently and have excellent communication skills in order to accurately share ideas with our CTO, CEO, and UX Designer.
Over time, we’d love to explore the intern joining the team full-time as we grow and scale.
What we're looking for
Studied/studying a Computer Science (or related) degree
Fluency in written and spoken English
Some experience building user-focused web and mobile apps
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and NoSQL
Knowledge of RESTful services and API integrations
A strong product instinct and ability to visualize what the product will look like
Familiarity with Firebase would be beneficial
A team-player with a humble, empathetic, can-do attitude
A continuous drive to learn with a growth mindset
Open-mindedness to non-traditional solutions is essential
Passionate about working in a fast-paced, disruptive technology startup
