Hydro Sunndal is the largest and most modern primary aluminium plant in Europe. Our main products are extrusion ingots and primary foundry alloys, used to a large extent by the car manufacturing industry. Hydro Sunndal is also a research and development hub, with extensive expertise in casthouse operations.
We are continually improving our production processes and change greatly through elements such as predictive maintenance, big data, automatization, robotics, IT networks and infrastructure. This role is a great opportunity to contribute to this exciting transition, with a specific focus on automation, operational big data and analytics.
Hydro Sunndal is a front-runner in Primary Metal’s Industry 4.0 transformation efforts. This effort will give exiting opportunities within technology development and implementation for many years forward.
Our Graduate positions give considerable knowledge about the aluminium business and are essential for developing new leaders and professionals in Hydro. Key roles will typically require experience from different parts of the company, so a Graduate is expected to be flexible and mobile.
