Business Area Power Generation (P) is responsible for operation and maintenance of Statkraft’s power plants worldwide. In addition, P is responsible for the development of Statkraft’s European flexible power generation assets, together with the Business Area Market. Our ambition is to build O&M as a sustainable competitive advantage in an international market. Currently P operates power stations in 9 countries within different technologies (hydro, wind, gas and bio).
We are looking for a graduate to a position within our Operation & Maintenance department. You need to have a strong interest in the energy business, the business aspects of O&M and your heart should start pounding when you see a power plant.
Your role:
We will build your first two years with biannual assignments, each with the duration of about 6 months, in different units within the Statkraft group. An important aspect is to develop a broad base of company experience, which will be important for solving future tasks in P. The exact composition of the two years will to a certain extent be tailored to your background. At least two of the rotation periods will be based in operating units close to our power plants. This will allow you to build a deeper understanding of the core O&M activities and our assets.
