Local Unit & Position Description: Energy Advisory is DNV GL Energy’s consulting division. From our office at Høvik, right outside Oslo, we are aiming to be the leading supplier of Energy Advisory services in Scandinavia, in the interface between technology, economy and strategy. Services provided cover the entire power sector and include market and policy development, technical services for production, transmission and distribution companies, project and risk management, cyber security and due diligence. Applicable for students completing a masters degree spring 2015. Job start will be medio August 2015. You will join a highly motivated and skilled team with extensive experience within the energy sector and consulting services. As a consultant you will have a key role in the project teams solving challenges for our clients. During this work you are expected to learn and adapt methodology to be able to solve problems efficiently and with excellent quality. You will join more experienced consultants in sales and marketing. At the same time you are expected to start building up your own base of leads and opportunities, and be able to turn them into commercial projects within the first years. Position Qualifications: - Master degree (or above) with strong academic results in relevant fields, preferably in industrial economics and technology management - Interest in the power sector in Scandinavia and preferably with experience from the sector through internship or projects - Preferably international experience - Professional experience from consultancy and business development and/or voluntary work is an advantage Personal Qualities: - Strong communication and presentation skills, in Norwegian and English - Personal initiative and leadership skills - The ability to establish and develop professional relationships - Strong analytical and creative skills - Excellent team work skills and the ability to motivate and inspire - Business mindset We offer: At DNV GL, we offer opportunities beyond business.
