Trainee in Lithography Planning

Our program for your success

We are committed to preparing you for the job. The Hydro Trainee Program leaves nothing to chance: We will start by discussing your individual assignment plan for the program, which lasts 15 months or more. You will spend three to six months in different departments at two or more sites – one of which will be in Hamburg. Throughout the program you will receive support from our HR department and your personal mentor. You will also benefit from our international on-boarding program, numerous training courses, and networking events where you will have the opportunity to meet other Hydro trainees. By the end of the program, you will be ready for the challenges in the "control center of our company". From the lithography planning “base camp”, your path will lead you to production, sales, logistics and other planning elements. This may involve you working as a capacity planner, whereby stock and delivery times are the focal point and you balance consumption and capacities. You may also be a primary material planner, taking care of the ordering and sourcing of materials or coordinating assignments with the liaison for production scheduling and sales. The fact of the matter is: thanks to you, everything runs like clockwork. Later on you will be in the position to further develop and optimize our supply chain processes and systems.

Your qualifications

You can plan your future with us when you finish your Engineering or Computer Science degree with either good or very good results. It would be of particular interest to us if you have studied mechanical engineering, focusing on production scheduling, or if you are a recent graduate in industrial engineering dedicated to production management or technical controlling. As a prospective professional, you will preferably already have completed relevant internships. In any case, you have a strong affinity for numbers and IT and you enjoy software development. Do you have a good grip on Visual Basic or another programming language? That would be great! We also require you to be able to work practically with MS Office. If you can communicate in a professional manner and have English and German language skills that can be developed on top of it all, then you are a perfect fit for our team.
