Learn what a consulting career is really like with an internship at Accenture. As an intern, you will have first-hand exposure to the roles and responsibilities of an entry-level analyst. Internships last for approximately six weeks. During that time, you’ll help design and deliver innovative solutions that help our clients achieve high performance. What’s it like being a summer intern at Accenture? Our aim is to give our summer interns an idea of what life at Accenture is really like. Running from the end of June to August each year, the program will give you a solid grounding in business and technology consultancy, as well as valuable commercial skills. Throughout the summer you will work in a project team where you will be guided by a project lead and several supervisors. You will be working with 2-10 other students from various backgrounds, delivering solutions to actual challenges that Accenture and our clients face. Social activities It’s important that our interns enjoy their time working with us. Therefore we also arrange some social events throughout the summer. These can range from barbecues or RIB adventures in Oslofjorden to events with Accenture’s internal soccer team. Creating value for Accenture and our clients Our summer interns are an integral part of Accenture, and their work adds real value to our business. The interns are organized into project groups and each group is responsible for completing their project by the end of summer. Below are some examples of intern work carried out in the past:

• Identified challenges related to migration and integration of cloud service providers
• Developed a platform for development of Apps for Iphone and Android
• Investigated the possibility of increased use of environmentally friendly transport for a distributor
• Strategy project for a charity organization

Results from these projects, as well as other summer internship projects, are being used today! Application process For internships in Technology, we look for students with a background in technology, computer science or engineering. Candidates should be:

• Team-oriented and have an outgoing personality
• Professionally committed
• Passionate about technology
• Strong performers academically
• In the third or fourth year of their master’s degree. Fourth year students are given priority. Second-year bachelor’s degree students may also apply

For internships in Management Consulting, we look for students with a background in business, management, the social sciences or the natural sciences who are:

• Team-oriented and have an outgoing personality
• Professionally committed Interested in technology
• Strong performers academically
• In the third or fourth year of their master’s degree. Fourth year students are given priority.
