HSEQ Supervisor
As HSEQ Supervisor you will assist the implementation and maintenance of the HSEQ management systems, both onshore and onboard our seismic vessels. You will help ensure PGS Operations comply with the PGS HSEQ Policy and HSEQ Management system. The position is primarily office based at the PGS Headquarters at Lysaker, but you can expect to travel internationally, including offshore. The position is a 12 month temporary position, with possibility for extension.
Opportunities and responsibilities:
Maintain HSEQ statistics and reporting tools
Identify and interpret trends through statistics analysis
Maintain and develop HSEQ systems (HSEQ website, training systems etc)
Assist in internal and external HSEQ audit processes
Maintain support of HSEQ Procedures
Assist in various projects related to continued development of HSEQ in PGS Operations
Other HSEQ related tasks as required
Assist PGS Operations group in ensuring compliance with the PGS Policy Statements and the PGS HSEQ Management System
Qualifications and skills:
Master or Bachelor degree. Education or experience in the HSEQ field is preferable, but relevant Marine Seismic or Maritime education/experience is equally preferred
Graduates are also encouraged to apply
Knowledge of industry requirements and international standards within the area of HSEQ, or of the oil and gas industry and/or maritime industry, is preferred
Some knowledge of Document Management Systems
Good English communication skills
Ability to work well within a team environment as well as independently
Innovative with the ability to learn new skills, to work unsupervised and under pressure
The successful applicant will be expected to pass the Basic offshore Sea Survival and Helicopter training
The successful applicant will be expected to pass the Medical examination required for the above training
