Summer internship 2009 in strategy and business development
The pulp and paper industry is facing challenges with overcapacity in declining markets in the western world, and poor profitability caused by rapid cost increases. The strategy and finance departments in Norske Skog work with transforming the company financially and operationally to position it for profitable growth in new areas such as biofuels, energy and recovered paper.
Are you inspired by change?
Norske Skog now offers summer internships in strategy and business development for 2-3 students, preferably for students graduating in 2010.
An internship at Norske Skog’s headquarter in Oslo will provide an opportunity for talented students with excellent academic records to get insights into a company with challenging times ahead. You will spend 6-8 weeks identifying, analyzing and developing projects that are strategically important to Norske Skog. Following the internship, you will have the possibility to further position yourself for a career in the company through project and thesis work.

5-10 students will be invited to the corporate headquarter in Oslo in the beginning of November for interviews and introduction to Norske Skog and the summer internship program.
