Join DNB Carnegie as a Graduate in 2026
We are now hiring passionate and motivated graduates to join our Investment Banking team as part of the DNB Carnegie Graduate Programme, starting in August 2026. Whether you are set to finish your degree next year or have up to one year of work experience, this is your opportunity to launch your career in a high-performing, collaborative, and dynamic environment.
From day one, you will become a valued member of the team – working side by side with experienced professionals on real projects and transactions. You will build both technical and interpersonal skills through structured training, on-the-job learning, and mentoring, while expanding your professional network across the DNB Group and beyond.
What the Programme offers
The Programme begins with an intensive onboarding and training period designed to build a strong foundation in key areas of corporate finance. You will take part in targeted courses, covering topics such as accounting fundamentals, financial statement analysis, and financial modelling in Excel.
After training, you will join our Corporate Finance team within Investment Banking, where you will take on meaningful responsibilities and contribute to client work from the start. The role will include a combination of qualitative and quantitative tasks, tailored to your strengths and interests over time. You will also have the opportunity to rotate across different teams within Investment Banking, giving you broad exposure to our products and services – and helping you build a well-rounded skillset and a strong internal network.
What you’ll do
Conduct company and industry research to support pitches and transactions
Build financial models, perform valuation analyses, and prepare presentation materials
Assist in the execution of transactions across mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity, and debt
Collaborate with senior team members and clients to support deliverables across all stages of a deal
What we’re looking for
We value curiosity, collaboration, and the drive to make a difference to our organisation and our clients. Our teams are built on mutual respect, diverse perspectives, and a commitment to excellence. We welcome graduates from all academic disciplines.
We are looking for candidates who:
Demonstrate strong academic performance in any field of study
Have excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Are fluent in English and at least one Scandinavian language
Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Show genuine interest in financial markets, corporate strategy, and client service
Not sure if you meet every requirement? We still encourage you to apply. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace and are excited to hear from individuals with different experiences and perspectives.
