MovieMask was founded by Eirik Wahlstrøm and Harald Manheim. They came up with the idea after watching The Hateful Eight in San Fransisco, and realizing how much better the movie gets when you are in a movie theatre.

Eirik and Harald are both graduates from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, where they studied Industrial Economics and Technology Management. Ada Lea, the marketing director, is also a fifth year student at NTNU. Hauk Bjørnland is the film maker and Trine Solhaug the advisor. In addition, MovieMask has six interns, and experienced investors, that have worked as advisors in law and business.
